YOUR DAY

Enjoy a predictable work schedule as a full-time Diesel Technician. You'll work an 8-hour day shift from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime.

Joining Dane Fleet Services, Inc. as a Diesel Technician means starting your day with diagnostic tests on trucks. Identify and address any issues with precision. Move on to preventive maintenance tasks like inspections, oil changes, and routine service for service trucks, ensuring they run smoothly. Your expertise extends to inspections on diesel and gasoline trucks, maintaining and repairing engines, conducting part replacements, and ensuring vehicles meet industry standards.

Respond promptly to service calls, conducting repairs on-site at customer locations. Utilize diagnostic tools to interpret and rectify fault codes. Keep detailed records of vehicle service, repairs, and parts inventory, always maintaining safety protocols. Your role as a Diesel Technician is not confined to the workshop; you're a mobile problem-solver and a valued member of our team.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
  • Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment
  • Capability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) for diagnosing and repairing intricate components
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
